What You'll Do
- Design, build, and ship high-quality native iOS applications using Swift and SwiftUI.
- Own features end-to-end—from product discussions and technical design to implementation, testing, and release.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Design, AI, and Backend Engineering to deliver customer-facing experiences.
- Build reusable SwiftUI components and create polished, intuitive user experiences.
- Optimize application performance, reliability, testing, and release quality.
- Leverage modern AI coding tools to accelerate development while maintaining a high engineering bar.
- Contribute to the long-term architecture and engineering standards of Mercor's mobile platform.
- Solve real customer problems and continuously improve expert engagement and experience.
What We’re Looking For
- 2–5+ years of professional software engineering experience building production iOS applications.
- Strong proficiency in Swift and SwiftUI.
- Experience shipping production applications through the App Store.
- Strong understanding of modern mobile architecture and engineering best practices.
- Comfortable building products using modern AI development tools (e.g. Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Codex, or similar) to accelerate software development.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals, including testing, debugging, and performance optimization.
- Excellent product intuition—you enjoy building products that people actually use.
- Comfortable working in fast-moving environments with evolving priorities.
- High ownership, curiosity, and a bias toward shipping.
