Responsibilities
- Design and implement iOS features using Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, and modern iOS frameworks.
- Build and maintain reliable, high-performance mobile applications.
- Integrate internal and external APIs to support real-time data and application functionality.
- Collaborate with designers and product managers to deliver intuitive mobile experiences.
- Participate in code reviews and follow iOS best practices and architectural patterns.
- Improve code quality, performance, and maintainability through testing and documentation.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience developing iOS applications, or equivalent experience through internships, projects, or coursework.
- Experience with Swift and SwiftUI, with exposure to UIKit and common iOS frameworks.
- Familiarity with asynchronous programming, including async/await, multithreading, or GCD.
- Basic experience with networking, APIs, or real-world data sources.
- Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.
Nice-to-Haves
- Passion for aviation and flight safety.
- Exposure to mapping or spatial frameworks such as Mapbox or MapKit.
- Interest in real-time data, sensors, or hardware-adjacent systems.
- Familiarity with CI/CD workflows or cloud-backed mobile systems.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary: $135,000–$260,000 annually.
- Hybrid work in San Carlos, CA, with at least 3 days per week onsite.
- Medical premiums covered at 100% for employees and 25% for dependents.
- 3 weeks of paid time off plus 13+ paid company holidays.
