Senior Agent Product Manager, Healthcare

Own end-to-end AI agent transformations for major healthcare customers, from executive strategy and solution design through deployment, adoption, and expansion. About the role

Responsibilities

  • Own the AI transformation and technical deployment for Decagon's largest healthcare opportunities, partnering with Sales, Solutions Engineers, and Agent Deployment Engineers.
  • Serve as the executive partner to Fortune 500 company C-suites, defining and driving AI transformation roadmaps from initial conversation through production and expansion.
  • Design, build, and optimize enterprise-grade AI agents for healthcare workflows, including benefits and eligibility, claims and prior authorization status, patient access and scheduling, prescription adherence outreach, care-gap closure, post-discharge follow-up, and healthcare professional inquiries.
  • Own account trust postures covering PHI handling, consent, escalation to licensed clinical staff, agent guardrails, and audit and compliance evidence.
  • Turn frameworks and playbooks into reusable healthcare assets that scale across accounts and inform the product roadmap.
  • Direct Agent Deployment Engineers and partner teams while remaining accountable for outcomes.
  • Run feedback loops with Product and Engineering to shape healthcare products based on deployment learnings.

Requirements

  • 6+ years owning ambiguous, high-stakes outcomes and earning the trust of senior executives, including at least 3 years in healthcare.
  • Experience as an engagement manager, project leader, senior manager, product manager, founder, forward-deployed professional, or solutions professional serving healthcare organizations.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare operations, including health plan and health system organization, member and patient friction, care, claims, and contact center operations.
  • Builder's instinct and desire to design and build solutions directly.
  • Strong technical acumen, with the ability to shape AI agent designs and communicate with engineers and executives.
  • Experience shipping in regulated, security-reviewed environments involving HIPAA, BAA, PHI minimization, SOC 2, or HITRUST.
  • Executive presence and a record of becoming a trusted advisor to senior decision-makers at large, complex organizations.
  • Comfort operating in fast-moving, ambiguous environments.

Nice-to-haves

  • Computer Science, Engineering, or Math degree, or equivalent hands-on technical experience.
  • Clinical, public health, or health policy background, or experience designing under clinical safety constraints.
  • MBA or equivalent experience at the intersection of business strategy and technology.
  • Experience selling, deploying, or advising on enterprise software or Fortune 500 transformation programs.
  • First-in-vertical experience owning repeatable patterns across a company.
