Responsibilities
- Own and improve enterprise security technologies, including EDR, SIEM, MDM, Zero Trust, identity, browsers, and SaaS applications.
- Deploy, configure, integrate, monitor, and manage the lifecycle of corporate security technologies.
- Establish and enforce secure configuration baselines across corporate systems, identify configuration drift, and automate remediation.
- Build API-driven, infrastructure-as-code, and workflow-based automation to connect security systems and improve control enforcement and evidence collection.
- Partner with Corporate IT and application owners to securely deploy and operate endpoints, applications, and SaaS platforms.
- Integrate corporate systems and applications with centralized monitoring and improve actionable security telemetry.
- Translate CMMC 2.0 and NIST-aligned requirements into practical, continuously validated technical controls.
- Reduce manual security and compliance processes through automation and produce reliable audit evidence.
- Identify and remediate systemic security weaknesses and improve continuous control validation.
Requirements
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in security engineering, enterprise security, systems security, or a closely related technical role.
- Experience securing identity, SaaS, or Zero Trust environments.
- Experience building security automation with APIs, workflow automation platforms, infrastructure-as-code, scripting, or configuration management.
- Experience deploying, administering, or owning endpoint security and detection technologies such as EDR and SIEM platforms.
- Experience integrating security telemetry into centralized monitoring.
- Experience administering MDM or endpoint-management platforms and maintaining endpoint security baselines.
- Ability to evaluate technical requirements from a security perspective, identify configuration risks, and implement practical controls across technical teams.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with CrowdStrike, Zscaler, enterprise MDM, identity providers, SIEM platforms, or comparable enterprise security systems.
- Experience implementing controls aligned with CMMC 2.0, NIST 800-53, CIS, STIGs, or similar frameworks.
- Experience integrating SaaS or security platforms using REST APIs, webhooks, GitHub Actions, or Okta Workflows.
- Experience securing corporate environments in regulated, government, defense, or other high-assurance organizations.
