Software Engineering Intern

Responsibilities

• Build voice and SMS agents that automate shift-lifecycle workflows, including confirmations, clock-ins, notes, and last-minute coverage.
• Develop LLM orchestration involving prompt engineering, tool use, context management, and evaluations.
• Build internal operations tooling for monitoring agent performance, handling edge cases, and onboarding customers.
• Improve reliability and observability across voice and messaging infrastructure.
• Ship full-stack features spanning data models, APIs, and user interfaces.
• Pair-program with the team and take ownership of features from design through production.
• Contribute to agent-quality evaluation and improvements to the orchestration layer.
• Scope and lead feature areas such as EHR integrations, talent-agent product improvements, or operations tooling.

Requirements

• Strong generalist who can work across the stack.
• Ability to ship quickly and iterate based on real usage.
• Comfort with ambiguity and independent problem-solving.
• Experience with LLMs in production, or strong interest in gaining that experience.
• Interest in AI development workflows and coding agents.

Nice-to-haves

• Interest in UI/UX or machine-learning research.
• Experience with observability and engineering workflow automation.
