Responsibilities
- Building distributed systems processing large volumes of data.
- Design, develop and maintain APIs, systems to enable the product in a scalable fashion.
- Building models and features to enhance anomaly detection.
- Work & Communicate with Product, Design and Other Engineering teams.
- Develop and iterate fast, maintaining a high quality bar.
Requirements
- Programming languages: Java, Python
- Familiarity with streaming platforms such as Kafka.
- Familiarity with stream processing systems such as Spark.
- Familiarity with distributed systems.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience working on streaming and stream processing systems such as Kafka, Spark etc.
- Experience building ETL pipelines.
- Experience working with distributed systems.
- Have delivered a production system on a large scale and has experience maintaining it.
- Leadership experience
Education/Qualifications
- BA/BS or MA/MS degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
