Employee Experience Specialist

The Employee Experience Specialist will plan and execute global employee events, recognition programs, swag operations, and recurring engagement initiatives. About the role

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute global signature events, including company anniversaries, holiday parties, and other company-wide gatherings, across 13+ offices.
  • Coordinate on-the-ground event execution in New York, including vendor management, audiovisual checks, and real-time problem solving.
  • Manage employee recognition and milestone programs, including birthdays, work anniversaries, milestone gifting, and Harvey Honors nominations, logistics, and fulfillment.
  • Help launch and operate a self-serve swag store, including new-hire kits and branded employee gear.
  • Coordinate Harvey Hangouts, including facilitators, budgets, participation tracking, venue booking, and U.S. event execution.
  • Maintain the company-wide events calendar and establish event themes, timing, and guidelines for offices.
  • Manage RSVPs, dietary and accessibility requirements, contracts, invoices, shipping, budgets, and variance tracking.
  • Gather feedback through surveys, pulse checks, and focus groups to improve employee experience programs.
  • Develop new processes and programs, propose ideas, and test approaches to create high-touch, personalized experiences.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of hands-on event experience, ideally as a meaningful part of the role.
  • Experience running event logistics repeatedly, potentially in corporate events, workplace teams, event production, law firms, hospitality, hotels, venues, or weddings.
  • High tolerance for ambiguity and a strong bias toward action.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple vendors, contracts, RSVP lists, and shipping logistics simultaneously.
  • Willingness to personally manage operational and event logistics.
  • Comfort communicating across time zones and cultures.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Service-first mindset.

Nice to Have

  • Experience owning or directly managing a program budget.
  • Prior experience at a high-growth startup or technology company.

Compensation

  • $99,200–$148,800 USD
