About the role

Responsibilities

  • Own and drive complex, cross-functional localization programs from strategy through execution.
  • Serve as the technical operating partner to Localization Operations and leadership, translating priorities into technical roadmaps and surfacing tradeoffs.
  • Lead the design, innovation, and implementation of scalable solutions using AI and machine translation to improve localization quality, cost, and efficiency.
  • Shape the technical direction of localization through alignment with leadership, localization subject-matter experts, and internationalization engineering partners.
  • Manage technical relationships and integration solutions with external language service and technology providers.
  • Drive continuous improvement in localization processes, automation, and quality frameworks.

Requirements

  • 9+ years of experience in technical program management or product management.
  • Experience delivering global, technically complex solutions and programs independently.
  • Deep knowledge of localization and internationalization, including end-to-end localization solutions.
  • Experience integrating AI-driven tools such as machine translation engines, LLMs, or AI-driven content evaluation systems.
  • Strong technical fluency, including language technology APIs and machine translation pipelines for localization and content processing.
  • Ability to influence technical roadmaps and collaborate with business owners, internal users, engineering, product, and external partners.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Ability to explain complex technical and AI/ML concepts to non-technical stakeholders and senior leadership.
  • Experience partnering directly with senior leadership as a strategic advisor.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Base pay range: $168,000–$210,000 USD.
  • May be eligible for bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.
