What You Will Work On
- Perform day-to-day operations for all medical offerings
- Work with insurance carriers to resolve escalated issues (enrollment errors, plan coding issues, and other discrepancies), escalating trends to the Team Lead
- Collect plan and pricing data from carriers, and work within the carriers' systems to enroll groups and individuals timely
- Maintain consistent urgency, ownership, and proactive communication with partners and vendors
- Partner with Product, Engineering, and Legal teams to improve systems and resolve issues
- Assist Team Lead with new-hire training and mentoring new members
- Flag trends and bugs to the Team Lead and Manager, partnering to understand scope, impact, and drive operational efficiencies
- Identify and remediate problems by developing and updating standard operating procedures
- Build out and maintain internal benefit resources (help articles, Confluence, training decks, process documentation, etc.)
- Resolve complex benefit inquiries/issues generated by Customer Success and Sales teams within agreed SLAs
- Adhere to vendor and internal partner SLAs
- Triage incoming issues/inquiries to identify need for additional intervention and escalate accordingly
- Maintain vendor relationships by leading conference calls, setting agenda items, and corresponding with account managers
- Execute regular filing and/or any additional regulatory duties
- Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications
Required:
- Minimum of 3 years of work experience in a similar role
- Experience working in a fast-paced, data-driven environment
- Experience working cross-functionally
- Experience with partnership management
- Experience with Jira and Confluence or similar software
- Ability to work both independently and as a team
- Strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly
Preferred:
- Partnership management experience
- SQL knowledge
Role specific:
- Knowledge of Employer Sponsored Benefit Plans strongly preferred
Compensation
The base wage range for this position based in our New York City Office is $67,000 to $81,500 per year. Actual compensation is based on multiple factors including skill set, level of relevant experience, and specific work location.
