Own Infisical’s finance function as its first finance hire, leading financial operations, reporting, forecasting, compliance, and strategic decision support. The role requires 4+ years in strategic finance, FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking, or startup finance, ideally within high-growth B2B SaaS.

About the job

Responsibilities

  • Own day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, vendor management, reimbursements, and payment approvals.
  • Lead monthly close processes, revenue recognition, financial reporting, and accurate bookkeeping.
  • Manage tax filings, compliance, and financial operations across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Build financial models, cash-flow forecasts, runway analyses, headcount plans, and scenario models.
  • Partner with leadership on fundraising, investor reporting, due diligence, and board materials.
  • Improve financial processes, policies, and tooling.
  • Support insurance renewals and other operational initiatives.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in investment banking, strategic finance, FP&A, corporate finance, or startup finance, including experience at a high-growth B2B SaaS company.
  • Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals, financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
  • Experience owning month-end close, revenue recognition, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
  • Ability to independently build financial models and communicate insights that influence decisions.
  • High ownership, autonomy, and process-building ability in a fast-moving startup.
  • Strong attention to detail and strategic business thinking.
  • Based in the US or Canada.

Nice to Have

  • Experience supporting venture-backed startups through fundraising, investor diligence, or board reporting.
  • Experience managing legal operations, including customer and vendor contracts, NDA and DPA workflows, contract repositories, and coordination with outside counsel.
