- Design, code, test, debug, and deploy production-grade software components primarily in Rust.
- Maintain and improve high-quality software engineering practices in a prominent open-source project.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience designing, testing, and implementing scalable backend systems.
- Experience with a low-level programming language such as Rust, C, C++, or Zig.
- Experience in systems programming; strong signals include work on compilers, operating systems, kernels, or machine simulators.
- Experience writing correct, reliable software and deploying changes used by people.
- Creative, independent, and collaborative approach in a fast-paced environment.
Nice-to-haves
- Active participation in Bitcoin, Ethereum, blockchain, or open-source projects.
Compensation
- Base salary: $120,000–$260,000 annually.
- Compensation is base salary only and excludes equity, tokens, and benefits.
