Responsibilities

  • Build end-to-end product experiences across expert acquisition, onboarding, assessments, matching, activation, and retention.
  • Partner with Growth and Operations to identify bottlenecks, instrument the funnel, and ship improvements quickly.
  • Own experiments from hypothesis through implementation, measurement, and iteration.
  • Develop internal tools and automation that improve the effectiveness of customer-facing and operational teams.
  • Create durable product primitives and clean interfaces instead of one-off workflows.
  • Improve existing systems while working on them.
  • Use data, user feedback, and technical judgment to balance speed, reliability, and maintainability.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of professional software engineering experience, ideally in product, growth, marketplace, or workflow software.
  • Strong full-stack engineering ability and experience shipping user-facing products from ambiguous requirements.
  • Excellent product sense and ability to focus on solutions that move key metrics.
  • Ability to work closely with non-technical partners and translate needs into simple, robust systems.
  • High ownership, strong judgment, and ability to move quickly without unnecessary complexity.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with growth engineering, marketplace liquidity, onboarding, conversion optimization, or product analytics.
  • Experience at a fast-growing startup or lean team where engineers owned product decisions and execution.
  • Interest in AI, data products, or tools that make complex work more scalable.
