About the role

Responsibilities

  • Operate the curated expert network as an end-to-end community operations system.
  • Maintain accurate supply data, including expert capabilities, tiers, availability, and locations.
  • Publish weekly funnel metrics: applications → portfolio approval → testing → passing → contracting → staffing.
  • Run onboarding mechanics by scheduling sessions, following up on stalled steps, moving experts through the process, and flagging bottlenecks.
  • Run reactivation campaigns, including sequences, reply tracking, booking coordination, routing, and conversion reporting.
  • Manage between-project touchpoints that keep experts engaged and available for new work.
  • Build operational structure while executing existing community operations work.
  • Design systems, documented handoffs, and trustworthy data that other people can use.

Requirements

  • Experience owning operational systems end to end and making decisions independently.
  • Ability to align stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity while workflows and playbooks are still being developed.
  • Strong execution pace, organization, follow-through, and attention to data quality.
  • Ability to distinguish curated, quality-focused network operations from volume recruiting or content-focused community management.
  • Demonstrated taste or discernment in a creative or professional domain.

Relevant Backgrounds

  • Operations or production coordination at design-first agencies, studios, or production companies.
  • Talent coordination at agencies, casting operations, fellowship programs, or residency programs.
  • Marketplace or community operations where supply quality was more important than volume.
  • End-to-end cohort, bootcamp, or apprenticeship program coordination.
  • Operations generalist or executive assistant work involving operational trackers and systems.
  • Freelance production work coordinating complex projects without formal authority.
