Autonomy Engineer Intern, Computer Vision / Deep Learning
Research and develop computer vision and deep learning algorithms for autonomous drones, taking ownership of projects from prototyping through product integration. The internship requires strong C++ or Python and PyTorch skills, mathematical foundations, and software engineering ability.

Responsibilities
- Research, prototype, and assess the feasibility of new approaches for intelligent autonomous systems.
- Implement algorithms and features for next-generation drone autonomy and computer vision.
- Characterize and quantify the performance of core software and hardware components.
- Advance research and development of autonomous capabilities and help push them into production products.
Requirements
- Undergraduate or graduate student eligible for an internship.
- High proficiency in C++ and/or Python and PyTorch.
- Strong software engineering foundation and commitment to clean, well-architected code.
- Strong foundation in mathematics and theory.
- Demonstrated enthusiasm for one or more of: computer vision, deep learning, motion planning, dynamics and controls, 3D graphics, distributed systems, or tools/infrastructure.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, small-team environment.
Compensation
- Annualized base compensation of $47/hour for undergraduate students or $53/hour for graduate students.
