Own geotechnical engineering for 50GW+ data center development: lead subsurface investigations, interpret data for foundation and ground improvement decisions, perform fatal-flaw site screening, and coordinate with structural/civil/environmental teams across multiple states.
Build and maintain reliability models for 50GW+ data center designs using RBDs, FTAs, and Monte Carlo simulations to quantify P99 availability across MEP systems. Own reliability studies at design gates, manage consultants, and translate findings into actionable recommendations for SLAs and capital allocation.
Own end-to-end fire protection design and strategy for 50GW+ AI data centers, from concept through commissioning. Design/supervise VESDA, fire alarm, sprinkler and clean agent systems; serve as primary AHJ/fire marshal liaison to keep permitting off critical path; ensure integration with electrical/mechanical systems. Requires PE or NICET certification plus hands-on mission-critical facility experience.
Create standardized controls designs, sequences of operations, points lists, BOMs, and Division 25 specs for modular data center builds. Coordinate across MEP teams for repeatable, error-free deployment of 50GW+ infrastructure.
Lead HV/MV substation design up to 345 kV for hyperscale data center campuses, owning full design packages, engineering studies, equipment specs, and utility interconnections. Requires 8+ years of substation design experience and a bachelor's in electrical engineering.
