Basic Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in electrical power system design with a strong focus on HV/MV systems, substations, and/or utility-scale interconnections.
- Experience in data center or mission-critical MV distribution design.
- Strong working knowledge of protection coordination principles, relay setups and sequence of operations.
- Proficiency with SEL, Schneider, Siemens, or ABB relay platforms, digital substations, rugged server and various protection protocols.
- Proficiency with power systems analysis software such as ETAP, SKM PowerTools, or others.
Preferred Qualifications
- Direct experience with utility interconnection processes in at least one of the following ISO regions: ERCOT, PJM, MISO, or CAISO.
- Familiarity with NERC reliability standards and bulk electric system interconnection requirements.
- Experience Testing and Commissioning HV/MV systems.
- Experience with emerging power generation technologies such as fuel cells, on-site generation, or battery energy storage integration at the MV level.
- Prior experience at a utility, EPC firm, or hyperscale data center operator (AWS, Google, Meta, Microsoft).

The salary range for this position is $200,000 - $270,000 per year, depending on experience, skills, qualifications, and location. Total compensation may also include equity in the form of stock options.
