Responsibilities
- Design and execute research studies using real-world healthcare data, applying traditional statistical methods and AI-enabled techniques.
- Lead client conversations and working sessions, present findings, address questions, and adapt analyses based on feedback.
- Distill complex datasets into actionable insights through reports, presentations, and discussions for technical and executive audiences.
- Collaborate with product, data science, clinical, and sales teams to inform product development and strategy.
- Evaluate and pilot AI tools, including enabling and supporting Marmot, Komodo Health’s AI platform.
- Lead client-facing research engagements from scoping through delivery and manage consultative stakeholder relationships.
- Develop methodologies for real-world healthcare data analysis and establish subject-matter expertise in therapeutic or healthcare domains.
Requirements
- PhD or equivalent advanced degree in a quantitative field such as epidemiology, biostatistics, or health economics, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years of healthcare research or analytics experience, preferably in client-facing consulting or industry.
- Client relationship management experience, including stakeholder dialogue, expectation management, and translating ambiguous questions into research plans.
- End-to-end real-world evidence and health economics and outcomes research studies, including descriptive and causal inference methods such as propensity score matching and inverse probability of treatment weighting.
- Experience using AI or large language model tools such as ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude, Gemini, or comparable assistants, or demonstrated ability to learn new AI tools quickly.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Track record of leading research projects from inception through completion.
Nice to Have
- Experience with electronic health records and claims data.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulatory, market, and AI-adoption trends.
- Familiarity with statistical methods for longitudinal or hierarchical data.
- Experience building or using AI-powered analytics pipelines or prompt-based research tools.
Compensation and Benefits
- ATS-listed annual base salary: $139,000–$195,000 USD.
- Performance-based bonuses and equity awards may be available.
