The Senior Finance Analyst develops investment and product finance models, supports planning and forecasting, and advises cross-functional leaders on staffing, operating leverage, and allocation decisions. Responsibilities

Financial Modeling & Investment Analysis

  • Develop and maintain ROI-driven financial models for strategic initiatives, including incremental headcount requests, productivity modeling, and product and platform investments.
  • Support annual planning, forecasting, and long-range planning, focusing on cost structure, operating leverage, and spend efficiency.

Product Finance & Performance Insights

  • Track and analyze metrics including cost to serve, unit economics, productivity, staffing models, and margin drivers at the product or initiative level.
  • Partner with Customer Success, Support, and Sales teams on roadmap prioritization, sequencing decisions, and investment tradeoffs.
  • Provide scenario-based analysis to quantify the financial impact of technology, tooling, and staffing optimization solutions.

Business Partnering

  • Collaborate with Product, Sales, Customer Success, and Support teams to understand financial impacts and provide guidance for forecasting and modeling.

Scenario Planning & Ad Hoc Analysis

  • Develop and analyze financial scenarios to assess potential outcomes and risks.
  • Conduct ad hoc financial analysis to support strategic projects.

External Communication Support

  • Assist with investor materials, presentations, and analyses for external discussions as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related quantitative field.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in product finance, corporate finance, investment banking, private equity, or management consulting.
  • Strong preference for experience in a SaaS or technology company.
  • Deep understanding of SaaS metrics, revenue recognition under ASC 606, and subscription-based business models.
  • Expert-level proficiency in financial modeling using Excel or Google Sheets, with the ability to build robust, scalable, and dynamic models from scratch.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to synthesize complex data into clear, concise, actionable insights.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presenting complex financial information to senior leadership.
  • Strong business acumen and strategic mindset.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Master's degree or CFA.
  • Proficiency with FP&A software such as Anaplan, Adaptive Insights, Hyperion, or Vena Solutions.
  • Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Power BI.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary range: $110,000–$130,000 USD.
  • Employees may also be eligible for an annual bonus or commission; some roles may be eligible for overtime pay.
