Software Engineer, Full Stack
Build and own an AI-powered learning product across frontend, backend, data, and infrastructure. The role requires 4+ years of production web application experience, strong TypeScript/JavaScript and backend skills, operational ownership, and experience integrating streaming LLM APIs.

Responsibilities
- Build the product end to end across frontend experiences, backend services, data layers, and deployment.
- Make foundational architecture decisions and revise them based on operational evidence.
- Build AI-serving systems with streaming responses, session and memory state, background generation and verification jobs, and graceful degradation.
- Establish engineering practices for testing, CI, observability, performance, and reliability.
- Ship product improvements alongside the founding team.
Requirements
- 4+ years building and shipping production web applications end to end.
- Strong TypeScript/JavaScript and modern web frameworks such as React or Next.js.
- Backend engineering experience with Node or Python, API design, and SQL.
- Experience owning production systems, including deployment, monitoring, incident response, and performance.
- Experience integrating LLM APIs into products, including streaming.
- AI-assisted coding and automation experience.
- Strong architectural judgment and ability to make decisions under uncertainty.
Nice to Have
- Early-stage startup experience.
- Real-time or voice interaction experience, including WebSockets, WebRTC, or audio pipelines.
- Data-pipeline or event-analytics experience.
- Consumer-product sensibility and attention to interaction details.
