Responsibilities
- Help build long-term product strategy by identifying opportunities to attract users, increase engagement, and drive retention
- Influence strategic roadmaps through data-driven insights into user behaviors and needs
- Design metrics to evaluate business health and product success, including ETL development
- Drive experimentation from design through execution and analysis
- Build self-serve tools for product and engineering partners
- Work cross-functionally with product, engineering, and design teams
- Scale work through mentoring junior data scientists and improving processes
Required Qualifications
- Advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) in Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Economics, or Operations Research
- For M.S.: 10+ years industry experience; for Ph.D.: 6+ years in applied/data science
- Expert SQL and relational databases
- Statistical analysis with R/Python
- Influence product strategy with data
- Solve ambiguous problems hypothesis-driven
- Causal inference techniques
- Excellent communication with leaders/stakeholders
