Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Playwright, TypeScript/JavaScript, and Apex.
- Develop and execute automated test scripts for Salesforce Sales Cloud, Salesforce CPQ, Revenue Cloud, Service Cloud, and Commerce Cloud applications.
- Design comprehensive test strategies, test cases, and automation suites based on business requirements.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing across Salesforce applications.
- Automate REST API testing and validate integrations between Salesforce and external systems.
- Execute exploratory and manual testing where automation is not applicable.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate with development teams for timely resolution.
- Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI/CD.
- Build reusable test utilities and improve automation framework reliability and maintainability.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Product Owners, Developers, and Solution Architects to ensure product quality.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and promote automation best practices.
- Continuously evaluate and improve testing processes, tools, and automation coverage.
Requirements
- 5+ years of QA automation experience.
- Strong hands-on Salesforce testing experience, including Sales Cloud, Salesforce CPQ, Revenue Cloud, and Service Cloud; Commerce Cloud experience is preferred.
- Strong experience with Playwright automation using TypeScript or JavaScript.
- Experience building and maintaining automation frameworks from scratch.
- Solid understanding of Salesforce business processes and end-to-end testing.
- Strong experience with REST API testing using Playwright or Postman.
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and working knowledge of Java or Python.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI/CD.
- Experience with Git and version-control best practices.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and debugging skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience with AI-powered testing tools, Agentic AI, or AI-assisted test automation.
- Experience with Playwright AI capabilities or self-healing automation solutions.
- Knowledge of Salesforce Apex testing.
- Experience with Copado Robotic Testing (CRT).
