Responsibilities
- Build and deliver high-performance AI features that help users discover, organize, and optimize access to large datasets.
- Rapidly prototype, test, validate with real users, and ship LLM- or agent-powered workflows for the data engineering lifecycle.
- Shape AI-driven product features, including integrating agentic components with internal tools such as Slack and alerting systems.
- Engage with internal data teams for dogfooding.
- Use AI and automation tools to enhance product functionality and development workflows.
- Communicate effectively and contribute across teams.
- Own AI solutions end to end, ensuring they are innovative, scalable, maintainable, and aligned with user workflows.
Requirements
- Strong experience building production-grade, user-facing software systems.
- Familiarity with AI technologies and frameworks, with a practical focus on delivering high-quality real-world solutions.
- Comfort releasing prototypes, collecting feedback, and iterating quickly.
- Proven initiative, ownership, and ability to work through ambiguity.
- Effective communication and a solutions-oriented, collaborative mindset.
- Experience with LLMs, context engineering, and applications powered by generative AI.
- Track record of delivering software that reached production and is actively used by users.
- Exposure to cloud-native environments such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
- Experience using observability tools to understand and troubleshoot system behavior.
Nice to Have
- Experience with agent frameworks or multi-agent workflows.
- Experience as a data analyst or with data platforms such as Looker, Tableau, Power BI, Snowflake, or Databricks.
- Experience building tools for data engineering.
Compensation & Benefits
- Germany base compensation range: €109,000–€137,000.
- Compensation may vary based on level, experience, and skill set.
