Integration Strategy & Planning
Partner with Corporate Development from LOI onward to translate deal theses into integration goals, success criteria, and operating models.
Build and maintain the integration playbook, including Day 1 and Day 100 checklists, communications templates, and KPI frameworks.
Define workstreams, master integration plans, governance cadences, and directly responsible individuals for each transaction.
Cross-Functional Execution
Serve as the day-to-day integration lead for assigned deals.
Coordinate standups, cross-functional reviews, status updates, and accountability across Legal, HR, Finance & Accounting, IT, Go-to-Market, Marketing, and Product & Technology.
Manage dependencies and risks, facilitate decisions and trade-offs, and escalate material issues.
Own Day 1 and Day 100 readiness across concurrent transactions.
People & Change Management
Partner with HR on organizational design, role mapping, retention, and engagement plans for acquired talent.
Track attrition, engagement, and manager feedback indicators and recommend interventions.
Support acquired employees through the transition and connect them with appropriate stakeholders.
Reporting & Synergy Realization
Track integration KPIs and partner with Corporate Development and FP&A to connect progress to the deal thesis and financial model.
Maintain deal-level and portfolio-level views of status, risks, and interdependencies.
Present integration progress and recommendations to relevant stakeholders.
Process Support
Maintain integration plans, checklists, templates, KPI libraries, and governance tools.
Assess integration complexity and risk during deal evaluation and negotiation.
Use AI-enabled tools to standardize and scale integration playbooks, trackers, and governance templates.
Conduct retrospectives and incorporate lessons learned.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree required.
Minimum 8 years of progressive professional experience, including at least 5 years leading or directly supporting M&A integration, post-merger integration consulting, corporate development integration, or complex cross-functional transformation programs.
Experience in a technology or software organization strongly preferred.
Experience owning integration workstreams or full integrations from planning through post-close execution.
Experience partnering with Corporate Development from LOI through close.
Experience across product and talent tuck-in acquisitions.
Strong program management, planning, risk management, dependency management, and status communication skills.
Ability to operate cross-functionally and present to senior stakeholders with autonomy.
Experience across Legal, HR, IT, Finance & Accounting, Go-to-Market, Marketing, and Product & Technology.
Change management experience, including cultural and people-related integration.
High ownership, sound judgment, discretion, and comfort operating in ambiguous, confidential, deal-driven environments.
