Senior Software Engineer - Developer Productivity

Responsibilities

• Build internal tools and services in Python and/or Go.
• Build tooling for an internal developer platform, including self-service workflows, shared patterns, and developer-facing interfaces.
• Enable developer workflows across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
• Develop AI-based workflows that improve developer experience and reduce repetitive manual work, including infrastructure-operations efficiency.
• Improve developer feedback loops and platform-service observability using metrics, logs, and traces.
• Automate engineering workflows such as scaffolding, environment setup, releases, and operational runbooks.
• Integrate tools into CLI, Slack, GitHub, and dashboard workflows to reduce time to resolution.
• Participate in on-call and incident response as needed, and drive follow-up automation to prevent recurring issues.
• Own medium-sized projects end-to-end, from identifying high-friction workflows through rollout, adoption, and iteration based on measurable outcomes.
• Partner with Platform Engineering, Release Engineering, Security, and product engineering teams.

Requirements

• Professional software engineering experience with Python and/or Go.
• Experience building developer productivity tooling, such as CI systems, build tooling, developer portals, or workflow automation.
• Experience with at least one major cloud provider: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Strong fundamentals in testing, code review, debugging, and operating production services.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote, cross-team environment.

Nice-to-haves

• Kubernetes experience.
• Infrastructure as code with Terraform or OpenTofu, including reusable modules and safe state management.
