Responsibilities

  • Partner with Product, Design, Engineering, Research, Data Science, and other teams to shape personalized experiences across Pinterest, including Homefeed and discovery surfaces.
  • Apply content design, information design, and user-centered thinking to create product experiences that help people discover ideas, understand recommendations, and engage with personalized experiences.
  • Use research, data, and user insights to inform content decisions and identify opportunities to improve the Pinterest experience.
  • Contribute to scalable content frameworks, patterns, and standards for clear, consistent, and trustworthy personalized experiences.
  • Create transparent, user-centered experiences that explain why people see content and how they can shape their experience.
  • Explore AI tools and prompting approaches throughout the content design process to improve decision quality, craft, and efficiency while applying strong content design judgment.
  • Share learnings, evolve team practices, and strengthen the Content Design practice’s approach to personalization.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in user-focused product content design, ideally with complex, data-informed, or personalized experiences.
  • Experience shaping the content approach for features or experiences beyond individual strings.
  • Strong collaboration skills and a content design perspective grounded in user needs, clarity, and design principles.
  • Portfolio demonstrating product problem-solving through language, content strategy, and collaboration.
  • Curiosity and willingness to explore emerging AI capabilities and apply them appropriately to content design workflows and product experiences.
  • Bachelor’s degree in design, a related field, or equivalent experience.

Compensation

  • Base salary: $81,921–$168,660 USD
  • Eligible for equity.
