Senior Security Engineer
Designs, implements, and maintains security measures for AI solutions, automates security processes using cloud tools, leads developer security tooling adoption, and ensures AWS infrastructure protection. Requires hands-on AWS experience and proficiency in Python, Go, Ruby, JavaScript.

Key Responsibilities
- Automate security processes, including asset management, vulnerability management, and patch management, using cloud-based tools and scripting
- Lead the adoption of developer tooling—such as linters, static analysis, posture assessment scanners, and query inspectors—to accelerate secure system development
- Build and embed security-first application primitives across our products
- Contribute meaningfully to AWS security, ensuring robust protection across all aspects of our cloud infrastructure
- Provide security guidance throughout the development lifecycle, including secure coding practices and vulnerability assessments
- Regular identification, assessment, and remediation of security vulnerabilities
- Understand and communicate the risk associated with vulnerabilities to stakeholders across the organization, providing actionable security guidance
- Work closely with other departments to align security strategies with business goals
- Ensure project plans and security documentation are complete and up to date, providing oversight and direction for security initiatives
- Participate in retrospectives and other activities to continuously improve the security posture of the organization
Requirements
- Proven track record in automating security processes and integrating cloud-based security tools
- Experience contributing application code that contributes to the overall security of the application including features, bug fixes, or internal tooling
- Hands-on experience with AWS security practices and tools
- Proficiency in languages such as Python, Go, Ruby, and JavaScript
- Possesses a startup mindset with a strong sense of ownership, balancing high-quality work with a sense of urgency
- Excellent problem-solving skills, capable of working independently with minimal guidance
- Strong bias for action, proactively addressing issues and taking initiative
- Adaptable to assist in all pillars of security across the organization
- Willingness to work in person at our office 4-5 days a week
Compensation
Salary range: $210,000 - $270,000 base, plus equity and comprehensive benefits.
