Senior Product Manager - Upstream
Owns technical backend and API-facing products for a programmatic TV advertising platform, including auctions, scoring, integrations, and campaign performance. Requires strong product management experience, ad tech infrastructure expertise, VAST or RTB integration experience, and fluency in Ukrainian and English.

Responsibilities
- Own backend and API-side product work in the optimization layer, including waterfall, prebid/auction, exclusion logic, and scoring models.
- Write product requirements documents, Jira tickets, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Create and manage Jira Epics, Confluence documents, and JPD Ideas; participate in Agile activities such as sprint planning, PRD reviews, retrospectives, and stakeholder presentations.
- Conduct product discovery with internal and external customers.
- Lead publisher and partner integrations involving VAST and RTB.
- Monitor live campaigns, delivery, and performance reports; identify anomalies and coordinate resolution with AdOps and QA.
- Support the programmatic team by triaging inbound requests and assessing system behavior.
- Partner with data science on scoring models, challenging assumptions and translating models into product requirements.
Requirements
- 4+ years of product management experience.
- Technical depth in ad tech infrastructure, including API design and backend behavior.
- Hands-on experience with VAST and/or RTB integrations.
- Strong data reasoning and performance-report analysis skills.
- Ability to write clear, unambiguous PRDs, user stories, and requirements for engineering teams.
- Strong product discovery fundamentals.
- Fluency in Ukrainian and English.
- Based in Ukraine or Europe.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience working with data science teams on modeling or algorithmic products.
- Experience in technical support or solutions roles with external customers or partners.
- Strong written and verbal English communication with US-based publishers and internal teams.
