About the role

Responsibilities

  • Act as SME on federal compliance frameworks (CMMC, FedRAMP Rev 5 and 20x, NIST 800-53, GovRAMP, ITAR, NIST 800-171), guiding customers and core AEs through sales cycles.
  • Support core AEs in live deals as overlay rep to advance and close federal opportunities.
  • Create playbooks, deliver training, and develop resources to enable sales org on federal selling.
  • Own full-cycle sales for select net-new logo opportunities with government vendors.
  • Drive pipeline via outbound efforts, industry events, partnerships with SIs and 3PAOs.
  • Provide feedback to Product & Engineering on V4G roadmap.
  • Collaborate with RevOps and Sales Ops for forecasting and CRM data.

Requirements

  • 8+ years related experience, 5+ years selling software/SaaS to government contractors or agencies.
  • Strong understanding of FedRAMP, CMMC, NIST 800-53/171, ITAR.
  • Proven navigation of government procurement cycles, RFPs, vendor buyers.
  • Established relationships with procurement/compliance stakeholders, SIs, channel partners.
  • Expertise in outbound prospecting and public sector messaging.
  • Comfortable in fast-paced environment; embrace AI tools.
  • U.S. work authorization required.
