About the role

Responsibilities

Own business product positioning and storytelling

  • Develop positioning and messaging for Linktree’s business suite, including SMB tools and Workspaces.
  • Create narratives for multi-profile, multi-seat management across entrepreneurs, local businesses, agencies, and brands.
  • Ensure the business story extends credibly from Linktree’s broader brand.

Drive acquisition and conversion

  • Identify acquisition, upgrade, and expansion opportunities.
  • Partner with CRM and lifecycle teams on journeys from trial and activation through paid plans and seat expansion.
  • Use funnel data to identify friction and improve positioning and onboarding.
  • Create self-serve education assets, including one-pagers, demo narratives, and comparison guides.

Shape product strategy

  • Build research-backed personas covering workflows, buying dynamics, tool stacks, and switching behavior.
  • Influence roadmap priorities using customer demand, competitive gaps, and market signals.
  • Establish frameworks for feature evaluation, packaging, and tier differentiation.
  • Represent business users in product, growth, and commercial discussions using research, behavioral data, and market intelligence.

Lead go-to-market

  • Own end-to-end GTM for business-focused launches.
  • Define audience segmentation, channel strategy, messaging hierarchy, and success metrics.
  • Partner with content, brand, and growth marketing on credible, outcome-oriented launch stories.
  • Build repeatable playbooks for future launches.

Build competitive intelligence

  • Monitor link-in-bio, multi-profile management, productivity, brand management, and agency workflow tools.
  • Synthesize competitive intelligence, analyst signals, and customer feedback into positioning and strategic recommendations.
  • Identify and defend Linktree’s differentiated position with business users at scale.

Enable cross-functional clarity

  • Align product, growth, brand, community, support, marketing, and leadership teams around business messaging.
  • Support localization and global expansion with positioning that works across markets and cultures.
  • Help internal teams articulate Linktree’s value to businesses.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of product marketing experience, including meaningful experience with B2B, SMB, or multi-seat and team-based products.
  • Track record leading complex launch GTM and delivering measurable acquisition, activation, and retention outcomes.
  • Understanding of business buying processes, multi-stakeholder dynamics, and ROI communication.
  • Experience creating customer segment personas that influence product and GTM decisions.
  • Strong strategic voice and confidence challenging product direction and advocating for customer segments.
  • Analytical ability to connect product and marketing performance data to positioning and roadmap decisions.
  • Ability to lead cross-functionally without formal authority.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Competitive compensation package including cash, equity, and benefits.
  • Base salary targeted at $215,000–$225,000 for roles based in San Francisco and Los Angeles.
  • Final offers vary based on location, experience, expertise, and role scope.
