About the role

Responsibilities

  • Own strategy and execution for Column's highest-stakes internal and external moments — customer-facing events, company offsites, board meetings, brand activations, and conference presence.
  • Partner with Workplace Experience Manager to build employee engagement programming that reflects and reinforces Column's culture.
  • Run the full production stack: vendor sourcing, venue selection, creative direction, communications, budget management, and day-of execution.
  • Work with GTM to develop event strategies that generate pipeline and deepen relationships with key business contacts.
  • Be on the ground at high-priority events — present, adaptable, and always three steps ahead.
  • Contribute to broader marketing campaigns and brand initiatives.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in event production, experiential marketing, or brand activation roles—ideally at a high-growth startup or creative agency.
  • Demonstrated success executing high-profile, detail-rich events under tight timelines.
  • Outstanding project management skills and ability to multitask in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong aesthetic sensibility and eye for brand cohesion.
  • Scrappy, resourceful, and humble—you’re just as comfortable building a strategy deck as you are taping down cables.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfort interfacing with executives and VIPs.
  • Willingness to travel and adapt on the fly.

Compensation

  • Annual US base salary range: $160,000 - $200,000 + equity.
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision plans (100% covered options).

  • Flexible time-off policy.
  • 100% paid parental leave (up to 16 weeks).
  • Catered lunches and dinners for SF employees.
