Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, multi-tenant backend services and APIs.
- Build features in the Webflow Designer Dashboard and infrastructure supporting Webflow Cloud.
- Produce maintainable, tested, performant, and scalable code.
- Author, collaborate on, and evaluate design documents.
- Influence technical designs and team-level prioritization.
- Lead projects contributing to team and engineering deliverables.
- Debug production issues across services and multiple levels of the stack.
- Collaborate with product managers and designers in an autonomous, supportive team environment.
- Mentor junior engineers in technical skills and company culture.
- Participate in engineering citizenship activities, including co-authoring engineering blogs, improving hiring processes, and leading internal hackathon teams.
Requirements
- Business-level fluency in written and spoken English.
- 5+ years developing and deploying web applications, with a proven record of shipping code.
- Experience with Node.js and TypeScript.
- Ability to build scalable services and APIs using Express.js, GraphQL, Apollo, and MongoDB.
- Experience building complex web systems.
- Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, Playwright, or Cypress.
- Ability to work in an agile, safe-to-fail environment.
- Curiosity and openness to growth, including proactively applying emerging AI technologies.
- Demonstrable experience across multiple technical domains.
