About the role
Responsibilities
Provide preventative care and diagnostic services in patients’ homes.
Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection, diabetic foot screenings, diabetic retina imaging, ECGs, digital-stethoscope recordings, and other low-acuity services.
Prepare supplies and PPE before appointments.
Use mobile technology to access schedules, chart, and coordinate care through HIPAA-secure messaging.
Collect relevant patient information and provide comfortable, patient-centered service.
Label samples correctly and coordinate delivery to the appropriate laboratory or shipment facility.
Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of professionalism, integrity, accountability, confidentiality, quality, and compassion.
Travel independently to patients’ homes using a personal vehicle.
Requirements
Previous venipuncture experience.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Comfort with problem-solving in a changing environment.
Technological proficiency with mobile devices and secure messaging applications.
Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and current vehicle insurance.
Ability to access and navigate patient homes, including climbing stairs and carrying up to 20 pounds while walking.
Successful completion of a national background check, DMV check, and clinical license verification.
State-required licensure or proof of training.
National certification where state-level licensure is not required.
Basic Life Support certification.
Proof of completion of the applicable course, program, or certification.
Required vaccination or immunity documentation for MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, TB, Influenza, and TDaP.
Compensation
Annual salary range: $54,080–$62,400.
