Responsibilities
- Build ad experiences and reusable patterns for Reddit’s web application to improve ad performance and functionality.
- Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to develop solutions for complex challenges.
- Participate in the full development lifecycle: design, development, quality assurance, experimentation, analysis, and deployment.
- Perform insightful code reviews and incorporate feedback.
Requirements
- 3+ years of web engineering experience.
- Proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript.
- Ability to build data-intensive, highly responsive, and fault-tolerant applications.
- Experience with automated testing, code quality, design patterns, and observability.
- Experience using generative AI tools to improve software engineering productivity.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills in a fully remote environment.

Compensation
- Base salary: $164,200–$229,900 USD.
- Eligible for equity in the form of restricted stock units and, depending on the position, commission.
