About the role

Lead Design Management

Responsibilities

  • Lead design management across the build portfolio: every site's design deliverables, consultants, and review cycles under one operating model.
  • Set the design schedule per site and hold architect and engineer of record firms to it, escalating slips while recovery is cheap.
  • Run the design review machine so packages clear constructability, cost, and reference-design conformance in one pass.
  • Own the interface between design and the field: RFI trends feed design fixes, not just answers.
  • Engineer data centers that go up in months, not years. At that pace rework is not an option: problems get caught on paper or they cost a data hall.
  • Design it once, build it a hundred times. Every site's lessons roll into the reference design on the way to 50GW+, so each build starts ahead of the last.

Requirements

  • Led design management on large industrial or mission critical programs with multiple firms in flight.
  • Held design firms to schedules they called aggressive, and they delivered.
  • Read across disciplines well enough to catch the cross-discipline gaps single-discipline reviewers miss.
  • Built review processes that made packages better and faster at the same time.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Data center design programs.
  • Owner-side design management.
  • Modular and DfMA delivery.
  • BIM-based review workflows.
