Hardware Configuration Specialist

Responsibilities

• Configure and update hardware to meet deployment specifications.
• Maintain 99%+ accuracy in configuration, serial-number tracking, and documentation.
• Identify and quarantine DOA or unconfigurable hardware and report findings.
• Ensure proper bin placement and labeling for configured equipment.
• Conduct QA checks to verify firmware and software accuracy before release.
• Collaborate with shipping and deployment teams to meet order timelines.
• Suggest improvements that reduce configuration errors or lead times.
• Follow documented Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and checklists.
• Review and verify outcomes before submission to maintain consistency and quality.
• Identify and address process gaps or errors to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Requirements

• Proven knowledge of Android OS, POS hardware, and configuration processes.
• Hands-on experience with EloView, Paxstore, ChefTab, and FreshKDS.
• Strong organization, accuracy, and documentation skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve basic configuration issues.
• Understanding of warehouse inventory systems and data-accuracy practices.
• 2–3 years of professional experience in customer success or related roles.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Fluent in English, written and verbal.
• Work authorization in the U.S. required; visa sponsorship is unavailable.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience in fintech or SaaS environments.
• Associate degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• Certifications in Supply Chain Management or Lean methodologies.
• Additional languages.

Compensation and Benefits

• Hourly pay: $15.00–$19.00.
