Responsibilities
Support the design and validation of a commercial product.
Contribute to the design of a regenerative drying and purification system for efficient, continuous production of high-purity hydrogen.
Characterize thermal and separation processes.
Develop control systems and optimize operating parameters to meet reliability and cost constraints.
Oversee an experimental test station as the directly responsible individual.
Develop a data analysis framework to provide insights into long-term physicochemical phenomena.
Work with vendors to design and develop custom components as needed.
Requirements
Currently pursuing or recently completed a B.S. or M.S. in Chemical, Materials, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, or a related field.
Comfortable working with basic mechanical and electrical components, troubleshooting independently, and taking ownership of hands-on laboratory work.
Strong fundamentals and problem-solving intuition in one or more of the following areas:
Thermodynamics
Fluid mechanics
Heat and mass transfer
Reaction kinetics
Phase equilibria
Ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment, learn, iterate, and execute with velocity.
Available to start in August or September 2026 and work onsite in Mountain View, CA.

Perform in-process and final inspections of electrical assemblies, wiring harnesses, and enclosures on the production floor.
