Staff Software Engineer (Fullstack)

Responsibilities

• Be a strategic leader in identifying technical and product opportunities, building services, advocating for refactors, and setting technical direction.
• Up-level engineering practices in technical decisions, code hygiene, documentation, and shipping high-quality products.
• Dive deep into high-complexity problems at scale with autonomy and support.
• Lead teams flexibly between IC work and management responsibilities.

Requirements

• 10+ years experience designing, building, shipping, and maintaining complex full-stack software at scale.
• 3+ years successfully leading and managing a team.
• Fluency in at least one backend and one frontend language, willingness to learn Python and JavaScript.
• Experience in startup environments, operating independently in ambiguity.
• Ability to ramp up quickly to product ecosystem for large projects.
• Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to provide feedback in specs, code reviews, and discussions.
• Passion for user impact.

Compensation & Benefits

• Expected compensation: $240K - $270K based on leveling.
