Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Intern
Summer internship supporting aerospace manufacturing programs through planning, logistics, prototype builds, quality analysis, and process improvement. Candidates should be pursuing an engineering degree and demonstrate strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities
- Support program planning and scheduling activities, tracking milestones, deliverables, and dependencies across engineering teams.
- Assist production planning and logistics engineers with material coordination, inventory tracking, and supply chain optimization.
- Partner with prototype build teams to coordinate build readiness, track work orders, and update configuration documentation.
- Collaborate with quality engineers to collect production data, perform defect analysis, and support corrective actions.
- Participate in advanced manufacturing and process improvement projects to improve efficiency, repeatability, and product quality.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and metrics to communicate progress and insights to engineering and leadership teams.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft PowerPoint.
Nice-to-Haves
- Expected graduation in December 2027 or spring 2028.
- Experience or coursework in project management, manufacturing systems, quality engineering, or supply chain logistics.
- Familiarity with data visualization or process modeling tools.
- Interest in aerospace, prototyping, or advanced manufacturing technologies.
