Supports RF hardware design, prototyping, characterization, and integrated performance testing for phased-array ground stations. Requires current Electrical Engineering study, foundational RF knowledge, Python or similar data-analysis experience, and at least one year of relevant project or lab experience.

Responsibilities
- Support the design and development of new RF hardware and improvements to existing designs for enhanced performance and reliability.
- Assist with fabrication and characterization of prototypes for antennas, feeds, and active RF circuits.
- Collaborate with hardware and software engineers to test and troubleshoot integrated RF performance.
- Provide technical support to regulatory and site operations colleagues.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of transmission line theory and Smith charts.
- Experience with Python or another programming language for data analysis.
- At least 1 year of experience in antenna, RF, or electrical design, fabrication, and testing, including laboratory work and university projects.
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience with PCB design tools such as Altium.
- Experience collaborating with mechanical and manufacturing engineers to translate analyzed designs into machinable components.
- Familiarity with RF test equipment, including network analyzers and spectrum analyzers.
- Experience analyzing antenna systems in the lab, including S-parameters, isolation, radiation patterns, and propagation effects.
- Familiarity with 3D electromagnetic simulation tools such as CST, HFSS, ADS, FEKO, or Microwave Office.
Compensation
- $74,880 annually.
- U.S. Government space technology export authorization eligibility is required.
