What You'll Do

Own the model and the plan

• Own a consolidated, bottoms-up three-statement operating model, built on a cross-functionally adopted, robust budgeting process.
• Own revenue and cash forecasting with real rigor and cross-functional partnership.
• Instrument the business toward key metrics (burn multiple, Rule of 40, efficiency) and understand trade-offs in real time.
• Own and operate Ditto's AI-native, home-grown Financial OS reporting and forecasting tool; expand it using AI fluency.
• Partner with VP, Finance on capital-raise processes, building models and helping tell the business story.

Own the corporate FP&A cadence

• Run the rhythm of close alignment, actuals review, and regular reliable forecasts on a predictable cadence with single source of truth and version-over-version change management.
• Drive processes cross-functionally, forging strong partnerships with leadership.
• Partner with Accounting to align forecasting with GAAP and non-GAAP accounting.
• Produce board reporting and own commission/sales-comp design and administration in collaboration with GTM and People.

Who You Are

• 8–12 years in FP&A / corporate finance, with a track record of owning the model and the cadence in a high-growth setting.
• Obsessed with the why behind the numbers; complete, correct, and fast in a dynamic environment with strong business judgment.
• Self-sufficient with a bias to action; prioritize ruthlessly and make calls with imperfect information.
• AI-fluent and a builder: hands-on extending in-house tooling (data, APIs, SQL, automation); know where AI needs human oversight.
• Hands-on experience with planning platforms (Anaplan, Planful, Pigment, or similar) and understanding of data models, rollups, cadence, and adoption.
• Real partner who earns trust across the executive team, distills complex concepts into actionable insights while maintaining independence on the numbers.
• Built for a remote team.
• Strong individual contributor with prior management experience; able to run this largely independently today and build a lean team over time while still contributing as an IC.

Nice to have

• Domain knowledge in government contracts, public sector go-to-market, and dual-use businesses.
• Investment banking foundation.
• Experience through a fundraise or IPO.
• Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP.
