Supports video editing and post-production across social, web, marketing, brand, and internal content while organizing digital assets and workflows. The role is suited to an early-career editor with strong storytelling, organizational, collaboration, and quality-control skills.

Responsibilities

  • Edit video content across social, web, marketing, brand, and internal channels.
  • Turn raw footage into polished edits, from initial assembly and rough cuts through final exports.
  • Ingest footage, sync audio, organize project files, and prepare timelines for editors.
  • Maintain and organize video assets and the Digital Asset Management (DAM) system, including naming conventions, folder structures, metadata, version control, and archival.
  • Ensure footage, project files, and final assets are organized, backed up, searchable, and accessible.
  • Collaborate with editors, producers, designers, and other creatives throughout production and post-production.
  • Incorporate creative feedback and revisions quickly and thoughtfully.
  • Perform quality control for audio, resolution, formatting, exports, and brand standards.
  • Improve post-production and asset-management workflows.

Requirements

  • 0–2 years of professional, academic, or personal video editing experience.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or comparable professional editing software.
  • Strong foundation in editing, pacing, visual storytelling, and post-production fundamentals.
  • Strong organization and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Experience or familiarity with Digital Asset Management, media organization, or structured file management.
  • Basic understanding of audio editing, color correction, codecs, formats, and video compression.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
  • Portfolio or reel demonstrating video editing ability.
  • Curiosity, creativity, and a growth mindset.
  • Willingness to seek and apply feedback.
  • Applicants must be based in the United States.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with After Effects, motion graphics, cloud storage systems, or collaborative post-production workflows.
