Senior Growth Engineer

Responsibilities

• Ideate, build, and iterate on product experiences that improve activation, retention, and monetization.
• Design, build, and A/B test features such as upgrade flows, contextual prompts, and pricing nudges.
• Track growth performance, identify opportunities, and ship iterative improvements.
• Build and optimize growth systems, including in-app messaging platforms, billing systems, and email orchestration tools.
• Own and improve signup, onboarding, and admin dashboard experiences.
• Personalize onboarding based on initial interactions.
• Build usage-limit, paywall, and upgrade-nudge experiences for AI credit metering.
• Build experimentation infrastructure.
• Work closely with product, design, data, marketing, and engineering teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of full-stack engineering experience with TypeScript/JavaScript, Node.js, and Vue or React.
• Experience with HTML, CSS, and UI libraries.
• Experience owning growth metrics such as product activation, retention, or revenue on a growth or PLG team at a SaaS company.
• Experience shipping experiments from hypothesis through ship/kill decisions.
• Product-mindedness and the ability to make effective decisions without a PM.
• Ability to query data independently and make decisions from user behavior and experiments.
• Comfort with ambiguity and iterating without perfect specifications or designs.
• A speed and ownership mindset, with responsible experimentation and delivery.

Nice-to-haves

• Exposure to pricing strategy, funnel optimization, or revenue KPIs.
• Experience as a founder or early-stage startup engineer.
