About the role

Responsibilities

  • Manage the entire sales cycle for prospects and customers across a variety of industries within an assigned territory.
  • Engage prospects and customers about their data and analytics initiatives to help them develop more efficient approaches leveraging the Dataiku platform.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product management, and sales engineering to showcase the business value of Dataiku’s platform.
  • Develop a vision match with prospects and customers, develop alignment across different groups, and cultivate champions.
  • Articulate competitive positioning effectively.
  • Travel 30-50% as needed.

Requirements

  • 10+ years experience in software field sales.
  • Strong belief in a customer-centric selling philosophy and applying a consultative approach in customer interactions.
  • Background in selling innovation and new concepts to large enterprises.
  • Strong ability to develop vision alignment with prospects and customers and cultivate champions.
  • Good articulation of competitive positioning.
  • Comfortable traveling 30 to 50%.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience in ‘data’ – big data, analytics, data science, BI/DW, data integration.
  • Early start-up experience.
