About the role
Responsibilities
Serve as the primary product point of contact for Carrot Ads’ API-integrated partners, including Uber Eats, Thrive Market, and Hy-Vee.
Monitor partner ad-business performance and needs, consult on product requests and escalations, attend business reviews, and drive partner-specific product improvements.
Own publisher-facing infrastructure and features supporting Carrot Ads integrations, including API architecture and documentation, SFPro integration, retailer-facing ad-serving controls, ad-serving quality, latency, reliability, data flows, reporting infrastructure, billing, and revenue-share systems.
Drive strategic initiatives to expand Carrot Ads into new areas such as in-store and B2B, and identify opportunities in new partner segments and verticals.
Lead cross-functional collaboration with Product, R&D, Strategy & Planning, Product Marketing, and Commercial Enablement teams.
Over time, lead cross-partner roadmap prioritization, represent Carrot Ads in leadership forums, and take senior product ownership of the overall program.
Requirements
5+ years of product management experience with a track record of independently owning complex, cross-functional product areas.
Experience building or owning B2B platform products.
Strong technical acumen and comfort working with engineering on API design, data pipelines, serving infrastructure, or similar systems.
Experience managing external partner or customer relationships in a product role.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex technical and business context for engineering and executive audiences.
Nice-to-haves
Experience in ad tech, retail media, or marketplace advertising, particularly on the supply or publisher side.
Familiarity with programmatic advertising concepts, including auction mechanics, ad serving, attribution, billing, revenue share, and reporting infrastructure.
Experience owning infrastructure that enables third-party businesses to operate, such as a white-label ad platform, marketplace API, or embedded commerce product.
Experience expanding products into new business verticals or partner segments.
Ability to ship in ambiguous, high-stakes environments with evolving scope, technical constraints, and business requirements.
Compensation and Benefits
ATS salary range: $158,000–$199,500 USD annually, depending on location.
The role is eligible for a new-hire equity grant and annual refresh grants.
