Early-career Quantitative Researcher developing ML models and trading signals to predict asset movements and build market-neutral portfolios. Requires STEM degree, Python fluency, and passion for machine learning; embedded in Alpha, Data Science, or Strategy teams.

Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize various machine learning models aimed at predicting liquid assets using a wide set of financial data and a vast library of trading signals.
- Parse data sets to be used for future alpha (strategy) development.
- Investigate and implement state-of-the-art academic research in the field of quantitative finance.
- Collaborate with experienced and resourceful quantitative researchers to carry out experiments and test hypotheses using simulations.
You will be embedded in one of the following teams (matched based on skills and preference):
- Alpha Researcher: Develop market-neutral signals, parse and analyze large data sets, collaborate to build predictive models.
- Data Scientist: Parse and analyze large data sets, discover and obtain new data sources, collaborate to build predictive ML models.
- Strategy Researcher: Develop systematic strategies based on machine learning and statistical methods using real market trading data.
Requirements
- BS/MS degree in any STEM field.
- Passion for machine learning.
- Fluent with programming languages like Python.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively both as an individual and a team player.
Nice-to-Haves
- Knowledge of financial accounting.
- Background in quantitative finance.
Compensation
- Base salary: $120,000 to $180,000 (determined by educational background and professional experience).
