Responsibilities
- Handle inbound compliance-related calls and emails.
- Review service requests for new and existing accounts.
- Confirm customer eligibility, approving requests that meet established criteria and denying those that do not.
- Monitor credit reviews for new and existing accounts.
- Research new accounts and verify eligibility for service using criteria established by DAT and the Federal Highway Administration.
- Verify and validate broker and carrier authority.
- Facilitate customer disagreements, act as a liaison to resolve disputes, and collect funds on behalf of carriers.
- Maintain complete customer records and accurately update account information.
- Own the customer experience through professionalism, initiative, and follow-through.
- Share customer feedback to help improve products and services.
- Share potential sales opportunities with Sales.
- Provide backup support to Product Support teams through inbound calls, emails, and chats.
Requirements
- 2–3 years of experience in a phone queue or professional office environment, working with customers and performing record-keeping duties.
- Direct experience capturing and verifying insurance details or trucking broker and carrier authority is highly desired.
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize work efficiently.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills in person, by phone, and email.
- Team-oriented attitude.
- Reliability, punctuality, and professional presentation.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
