Responsibilities

  • Integrate ISEE’s self-driving kit—including sensors, actuators, ECUs, networking and communication devices, and power delivery—into base vehicle platforms.
  • Maintain vehicle integration design documentation.
  • Act as the first responder for vehicle issues.
  • Hands-on triage of vehicle issues, including root-cause analysis and resolution.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a relevant industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering field such as automotive, electrical, or information technology, or equivalent experience.
  • Hands-on experience diagnosing automotive bus systems and working on vehicles, including disassembling and assembling vehicle components.
  • Experience with automotive sensors, including GPS, cameras, and LiDAR.
  • Experience with automotive communication protocols such as CAN.
  • Proficiency with automotive bus analysis tools such as Vector CANoe or CANalyzer.
  • Exposure to MATLAB/Simulink and Linux.
  • Experience with current sensor technologies for autonomous-driving platforms, including sensor calibration.
