Responsibilities
- Develop and refine workflows critical to Snowflake’s business.
- Design metrics and experiments to validate insights.
- Implement projects spanning the stack, including TypeScript services hosted in Snowflake and Kubernetes.
- Collaborate with product management, design, and partner teams.
- Deliver features requiring close coordination across several teams.
- Participate in defining product vision and team planning.
- Identify problems, instrument relevant components, and implement solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or an equivalent discipline.
- 2+ years of hands-on software engineering experience.
- 2+ years maintaining a production system.
- Interest in state-of-the-art LLM-based solutions.
- Experience with modern application architecture, API design patterns, performance, and scale.
- Experience with TypeScript, React, Node.js, and Express.
- Experience with software engineering best practices, including unit testing, code reviews, and design documentation.
- Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills, especially in a cloud environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Interest in working with diverse peers and external developers.
- Enjoyment of building high-quality products.
