Designs and implements secure, compliant Snowflake AI and Data Cloud architectures for customers in South Korea. The role requires extensive cloud security, networking, regulatory compliance, customer-facing architecture, and Korean and English communication experience.

Responsibilities
- Scope security-related feature enhancements on behalf of customers and collaborate with Product Management and Engineering on local-market requirements.
- Advise customers and engineering teams on secure, South Korea-compliant Data and AI Cloud architectures, including localization and regional access controls.
- Collaborate with Sales, Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Support to drive customer security feature adoption.
- Partner with Product Marketing on Snowflake’s AI and Data Cloud security posture, Security Data Lake workload awareness, pipeline building, conferences, trade shows, and events.
- Collaborate with Field CTO colleagues and Enterprise AI, Generative AI, Data Engineering, and Applications teams.
- Share knowledge with internal and industry communities through webinars and conferences.
- Build demonstrations, configure cloud-service-provider environments, and test Snowflake use cases with cloud services and external security tools.
- Create security and networking reference architectures, best practices, and hardening guides for customers.
- Execute audit gap assessments, control implementations, evidence collection, and annual surveillance or reassessment cycles.
Requirements
- 7–10+ years of hands-on information security experience, including at least 5+ years in cloud security architecture.
- 10+ years of industry, customer-facing, and hands-on implementation experience focused on data, privacy, governance, networking, information security, and security technologies.
- Native or professional business fluency in written and spoken Korean and professional-level English.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, or Korean cloud providers including Naver Cloud and NHN.
- Experience designing physical and logical network separation architectures and meeting data localization or residency requirements in regulated South Korean industries.
- Advanced knowledge of IAM/RBAC, OAuth, SCIM, TCP/IP, IP routing, DNS, proxies, NAT, firewalls, TLS, and PrivateLink.
- Practical exposure to AI security principles and non-human identity frameworks, including securing AI agents, orchestrators, and LLM data pipelines.
- Experience with security frameworks including NIST, CIS, OWASP, and MITRE ATT&CK.
- Experience presenting security and risk concepts to technical and executive audiences.
- Experience selling enterprise SaaS software and working in the South Korean market.
- Experience creating customer-facing architectures, demos, presentations, and whiteboard explanations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Management Systems, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree.
- Direct experience supporting CSAP certification at the Low, Mid, or High tier.
- Experience with the K-FSI CSP Safety Evaluation, vendor risk, outsourcing due diligence, and the Regulation on Supervision of Electronic Financial Transactions.
- Knowledge of South Korean cloud and privacy legislation, including Article 23-2 of the Cloud Computing Act, the Electronic Financial Transactions Act, and the Personal Information Protection Act.
- AWS, Azure, or GCP security or networking certification.
- SQL, Python, and API experience.
- Kubernetes, Terraform, or similar infrastructure-as-code experience.
- Governance, Risk, and Compliance or information security auditing experience with relevant credentials.
- Experience in Korean manufacturing, telecommunications, financial services, or retail sectors.
- CISSP, CISM, CISA, or K-ISMS-P Lead Auditor/Assessor credentials.
- Security operations, SOC, or threat-hunting experience.
- Technical pre-sales or architecture experience supporting enterprise cloud or SaaS sales cycles.
