About the role

What You'll Do

  • Conduct extremely deep research on target organizations (often 1000s of people) to identify key decision makers, their priorities, and pain points. This includes reviewing all publicly available information and networking to obtain internal intel (e.g., contacting former employees).
  • Identify and execute creative, high-effectiveness ways to initiate contact with decision makers. Prioritize results over cleverness. Examples include cold emailing, securing warm intros, organizing dinners, sending packages to homes, or placing targeted ads.
  • Orchestrate all interactions and move every piece on the board behind the scenes. Examples include coordinating with founders for investor intros or having executives attend events where prospects will be present.
  • Focus on depth over breadth: manage approximately 100 Tier 1 accounts per quarter, where each account represents a $500K+ deal opportunity. The current meeting booking rate for these accounts is 56%.

Requirements

  • Comfortable with occasional 60-hour work weeks.
  • Able to work 5 days a week in-person in SF.
  • Able to work without clear structure or bureaucracy.
  • Ready for a risky, high-upside career opportunity in an early-stage startup environment.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience as a founder (50% of the team are ex-founders).
  • High talent density and drive matching the team's intensity.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Base salary: $185,000.
  • 100% covered top-of-the-line health, dental, and vision insurance.
  • Breakfast, lunch, and dinner provided.
  • Ubers/Waymos to and from office covered.
  • Gas costs covered for commutes 10mi+ from office.
  • Unlimited PTO.
  • Relocation costs covered (if not in SF) with assistance.
  • Computer and workspace stipend.
  • Ownership mentality: access to fundraising calls, board decks, investor updates, and insight into closing $1M+ deals.
