Key Responsibilities
Product Vision and Strategy
- Own the long-term vision and roadmap for the Command|Link MDR, NDR, and XDR service lines
- Align security product goals with revenue targets, business objectives, threat landscape, and platform direction
- Operate with ownership and accountability for measurable outcomes
Revenue Growth
- Drive security portfolio revenue through new bookings, expansion/upsell, and retention
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Finance on pricing, packaging, and attach strategy
- Build business cases for net-new security products and revenue streams
Portfolio Integration
- Ensure security roadmap coherence with connectivity, SD-WAN, and SASE/SSE offerings
- Partner with Network and SASE product owners on converged NOC/SOC capabilities
Roadmap Execution
- Translate strategy into functional requirements and user stories
- Collaborate with engineering, threat research, and data science teams on AI-powered security solutions
- Drive clarity in ambiguous situations and maintain execution velocity
Platform and Telemetry Integration
- Oversee integration of telemetry sources (endpoints, firewalls, servers, SD-WAN flow data, cloud workloads) into SIEM/XDR platform
- Treat network context (NetFlow/IPFIX, SD-WAN, NOC signals) as first-class security input
- Participate in architectural discussions on data modeling, API integrations, and cloud-native security
- Work with technology partners (Fortinet, Cato, Versa, Meraki) at SASE/SD-WAN edge
Analyst Experience (AX)
- Partner with SOC leadership to design and optimize analyst workflow
- Build features that reduce alert fatigue, automate triage, and improve human-in-the-loop decision-making
Performance Metrics and KPIs
- Track commercial metrics: security revenue, ARR growth, net revenue retention, attach rate, expansion/upsell, margin
- Track operational metrics: MTTD, MTTR, False Positive rates
- Use data-driven insights for roadmap prioritization
Market and Competitive Research
- Conduct ongoing analysis of managed security market
- Identify trends in Attack Surface Management (ASM) and Continuous Threat Exposure Management (CTEM)
- Translate findings into strategic product advantages
Go to Market (GTM) Collaboration
- Work with Marketing and Sales on target personas, messaging, and positioning
- Champion "one vendor for network and security" value proposition
- Act as primary technical advocate in customer-facing and executive discussions
Compliance and Security Assurance
- Ensure products meet SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, HIPAA, GDPR standards
Requirements
- 7+ years of product management experience in cybersecurity
- Deep knowledge of MDR, NDR, EDR/XDR, SIEM, or SOC-as-a-Service models
- Strong technical acumen for architectural discussions on data modeling, API integrations, cloud-native security
- Familiarity with Syslog, IPFIX, and NetFlow
- Proven track record taking net-new security products from concept to launch and scale
- Experience with Agile development methodologies and backlog management tools
- Experience contributing to revenue growth and partnering with Sales, Marketing, Finance on pricing/packaging/GTM
- Understanding of SOC analyst challenges and Analyst Experience (AX) importance
- Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and communicate across technical and non-technical audiences
Nice-to-Haves
- Exposure to SASE/SSE and convergence of network and security operations
- CISM or CISSP certification
